That one was on another server but I'm sure he was banned. The curious thing is how his aim when not snapping to a headshot moves in small squares. It's not smooth but snaps to a grid.

I agree with byte that you should only need the one copy to run a LAN, unless VALVe didn't like the idea enough to lack certain files without STEAM running. as he said also, if you cant (don't see why not) just find yourself a pirated copy to use for the LAN. you should be able to run bots too, I'm sure :D

Yes, or atleast it was....I once used 1 copy of css for 10 people in LAN....since you dont need to log into steam to play on a lan....its been over 4 years, so those doors may be closed now....if they are closed get a hacked copy of tf2...you wont be able to play online still, but can LAN with your friends.

easy...u buy the board and the 2 chips.... my last home server/web dev server was a dual i7 extreme, however this was before the boards where available....its nice to have connects within intel :P

Whadd up guys havent been on in like 3 weeks and i heard i missed some friggin scrims... which sucks, i've been interning in florida building servers and workstations, im actually putting together a rig tomorow with 2 GTX 480's and 2 core i7 extremes :D ill be back on tuesday august 10 and ill prolly make it to the practice that day too if we have one, hope all is well, im likin the site im off to splore it

So as I finally found the forum, it started white screening me. Just loading a white screen. I decided to try and proxy and can load it fine. Someone must be blocking it somehow which is odd, because no other site has ever been blocked here.

The mat_hdr_level, r_rootlod, and r_waterforceexpensive settings are now saved in the user’s config file.
Fixed clients being able to connect to servers with spoofed SteamIDs.
Fixed a bug where some video configurations could get reset by restarting the engine.
Fixed materials compiled into a map not being loaded correctly if they're in the root materials folder.
Fixed a case of uneven performance on multicore machines.
Fixed point contents not respecting detail brushes. This fixes a bullet penetration bug in some community maps.
Fixed clients being able to spam servers using the ai_set_move_height_epsilon, mission_show, and sv_querycache_stats commands.
Audio fixes:
Reduced overlap in the sound timing code.
Fixed a case where audio could skip.
Fixed voice communication getting corrupted while playing on a Mac.
sv_pure 2 now protects the game_sounds files in the scripts directory.

Team Fortress 2
Added server ConVar "sv_max_usercmd_future_ticks" which prevents clients from running usercmds too far in the future.
Added missing Mac intro movie for cp_coldfront.
Fixed "Hit '%disguiseteam%' to Toggle Team" string and code so they're not hard coded to 'e' and '-'.
Fixed servers trying to validate backpack positions in inventories.
Fixed clients validating inventories other than their own.
Fixed item selection HUD elements showing un-acknowledged items, which resulted in items in invalid backpack positions.
Fixed players not always getting "recent damager" credit for player suicides.

I gotta say, getting rid of some pixels for charity is rather nice, considering said pixels are quite rare items.
Who wants to bet they will get another item from Valve to show how badass these guys/gals are?
